Council Approves Ketchem as Mayville Police Chief

Jim Ketchem has agreed to a contract to become the next Mayville Chief of Police. The common council voted Thursday night to recommend a salary for him. Ketchem will serve a six month probationary period with a review following that time. Pending the results of a drug screen and physical – Ketchem is set to take over on September 24^th.
