County Board To Consider UW FDL Student Housing Development Agreement
The first step in approving student housing for the UW-Fond du Lac campus will be considered by the Fond du Lac County Board tonight. The board will be asked to approve a development agreement with Bluffstone II, LLC and give County officials the ability to negotiate terms of a lease. County Executive Al Buechel says the housing would consist of small apartments about 84 of them. He says Bluffstone has formed a limited liability corporation for the project. The Villas of Fond du Lac.Two committees vetted Bluffstone after requests for proposal were submitted. The board will also have to approve the lease agreement and the concept at next month’s meeting. The County Board meets at 7 p.m. at the City-County Government Center in Fond du Lac.
