Data Privacy Day

Data Privacy Day is coming up Saturday and an official with the state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says it’s a good day to make sure your computer and information is property protected. Frank Frassetto says you should make sure your operating systems and anti-virus protections are current. He says there are crooks out there that spend every waking moment trying to figure out how to get into your systems. He also recommends setting your devices to lock when you are not using them, use long and complex passwords for your email and accounts, and share your information online with care. He says to consider your information as valuable as your money.
