Dept of Corrections racks up $50 million in OT

According to an investigation by the Wisconsin State Journal, the state paid $50 million in overtime in 2018. That’s an increase of $7 million from 2016. 3 of the highest amounts of overtime came Waupun, Oshkosh and Dodge Correctional facilities. According to the report, staffing vacancies was the biggest reason for the OT.
