Deputies Recognized for Saving Collapsed Man

A group of Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies are being recognized for their efforts in saving a man’s life. Deputies Logan Will, Cody Sokolik, and Greg Anderson – along with Sheriff Mick Fink – responded to a home in the town of Taycheedah back on June 5th for reports of a man who had collapsed and was not breathing. The found the man in full cardiac arrest, so Deputy Sokolik began chest compressions while Deputy Will used an AED. The man regained consciousness and was able to start breathing on his own before being taken to a local hospital – where he is expected to make a full recovery. He will also get the chance to meet the deputies that saved him on Thursday.
