Development Agreement For Mid States Expansion On FDL City Council Agenda

The Fond du Lac City Council tonight will consider approving a development agreement with Mid-States Aluminum Corporation that will help the company with expansion efforts. The first phase of the expansion would include a 37,000 square foot building for a new extrusion press line. The second phase would include a 98,000 square foot addition for a new Anodizing line. The City will create a new Tax Incremental District to help with the costs of the project. Also tonight the Council will honor Fire Lieutenant Todd Shippee who retired Tuesday after 32 years and three months with the City. The Council meets at 6 p.m. at the City-County Government Center.
