DHS Receives More Money to Combat Opioid Epidemic

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has received
another $2.8 million from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to
continue the battle against the state’s opioid epidemic. The money will go
towards enhancing opioid public health prevention efforts in Wisconsin. It also supports training
programs for EMS workers, integrating training
on Narcan into technical college curriculums, and improving collection and
analysis of data about opioid misuse and overdoses.
