Dodge County Family Violence Apprehension Detail

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office joined a national initiative last month to combat domestic abuse called the 15th Annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail. The Sheriff’s Office deployed 7 deputies and coordinated the effort with the cooperation of five local police departments to try and serve 41 arrest warrants. Fourteen warrants were cleared as a result of this detail. In particular domestic abuse related warrants and contempt of court warrants were served. In addition to the Sheriff’s Department, police departments from the Town of Beaver Dam, Juneau, Horicon, Lomira and Randolph participated in the initiative.
