Dodge County K9 Teams Makes First Big Drug Bust

Dodge County Sheriff’s Sergeant Joe Nicholas and his new K9 partner made their first big drug bust during a traffic stop in the Town of Lomira last Sunday. Found in the vehicle was 67 grams of ecstasy or what’s known on the street as “Molly,” 10.5 ounces of Marijuana, $500 in drug money and a switchblade knife. Other pieces of drug paraphernalia were also seized in the stop. Sergeant Nicholas and Paige are part of the Sheriff’s Office’s effort to reduce the transporting of dangerous drugs on County roadways.
