Driver Who Hit And Killed Good Samaritan Allegedly Drunk

The pickup truck driver who struck and killed a Good Samaritan helping out at an accident scene last week in Dodge County could be facing serious charges. For now 28-year-old Troy Kelm of Beaver Dam has been cited for his 1st drunken driving offense. Kelm hit and killed 37-year-old Kayla Davis of Beaver Dam who had stopped on Highway 151 last Thursday morning to render aid at an accident scene. He swerved to avoid her SUV, but hit her in the process. Davis died at the scene. More charges could be coming against Kelm once toxicology tests are completed.
