Evers Addresses Budget, Priorities

Tony Evers admits “anything is on the table” when it comes to taxes and budgets in Wisconsin. The Democrat, running against Republican Governor Scott Walker, says governing is about setting priorities. Evers says that could mean cutting taxes for the middle class, and raising them for higher income earners. But Evers says he’s NOT proposing a dollar a gallon gas tax hike, despite claims from Walker. Evers says a study has shown there are 860,000 working families in the state who “hardly make enough money” to buy the necessities.
