Expand Highway 23 Coalition Announced

A joint coalition to raise
awareness for the expansion of Highway 23 between Fond du
Lac and Plymouth
was announced Friday. The Expand Highway 23 Coalition is made up of citizens,
prominent business owners and leaders, government officials, chambers of
commerce and economic development organizations in Fond du
Lac and Sheboygan
Counties. Their goal is
to raise awareness for the expansion of the highway to four lanes and why the
completion of the project is important. The group began meeting in the second
quarter of 2017 and has been working with the Wisconsin DOT for the completion
of the Environmental Impact Statement which is needed in order to get the
