Fale Takes Interim Role As Marian University President

Former Agnesian HealthCare CEO and President Robert Fale has been named Marian University’s interim president. He will serve in that role while a national search is conducted to replace Dr. Steven DiSalvo (DEE-sal-voh) who is leaving May 31st to take a job with St. Anselm College in New Hampshire to become that school’s president. The search for DiSalvo’s successor at Marian is expected to take up to a year. “We are excited to welcome Bob Fale to Marian University as we strive to continually excel and provide the most beneficial educational experience for our students,” stated John Nelson, Marian University Board of Trustees chairperson. “I appreciate the trust and confidence that Marian University leaders are instilling in me,” said Fale.  Fale retired from Agnesian in late 2011. Since January 2012, he has served as president and chief executive officer of Robert Fale HealthCare Consulting, LLC. In this role, he has served as a strategic advisor to C-suite and governing boards of integrated healthcare delivery systems. Fale will take office at Marian on June 17th.
