Fatal Accident In Dodge County
On August 29, 2013 at approximately 11:56 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on Dairy Road, north of Lomira Drive in the Township of Leroy.
Preliminary investigation shows that a Dodge Neon was traveling south on Dairy Road, going up a hill. A heavy duty Chevrolet pick up truck pulling a large flatbed trailer was traveling north on Dairy Road, cresting the hill. The Neon struck the truck and trailer, and then traveled into the west ditch.
The driver of the Neon, Angela Crist (32 years old, from Mayville) was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The driver of the Chevrolet, Anthony Clark (28 years old, from rural Mayville) was not injured in the crash. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
Agencies assisting the Sheriff’s Department were: Wisconsin State Patrol, Knowles Fire Department, Brownsville 1st Responders, Mayville EMS, DCERT, Mayville Police Department, Dodge County Medical Examiner, Dodge County Sheriffs Department Chaplain.
The Dodge County Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate the crash.
