Fatal Accident In Sheboygan County

On Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:00 PM the Sheboygan County
Sheriff’s Office Emergency
Dispatch Center
received a cellular emergency call reporting an injury crash on County Road V
.2 mile east of Whitetail Road,
in the Town of Lima.

 

Deputies, along with the Town of Sheboygan Falls first responders,
Oostburg Fire Department, Oostburg Ambulance and Orange Cross Ambulance
responded to the scene of a motorcycle crash, which resulted in the death of
the operator, who was the lone occupant on the vehicle.

 

The 1998 Harley
Davidson motorcycle was being operated westbound on County Road V, when a
witness observed the rear end begin to wobble and the driver lose control. The
vehicle overturned on the roadway, the driver was ejected and both the
motorcycle and the operator came to rest in the north ditch. The operator, a 52
year old Watertown man, was later pronounced
dead of the injuries he received during this event at St Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
