FDL Arson/Standoff Suspect Bound Over For Trial

The 40-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected of setting a house fire and being involved in a standoff with police last month waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Fond du Lac County Court Thursday. Shannon Rogler was bound over for trial. He was then arraigned and pled not guilty to the four felony charges he’s facing including arson and attempted 1st degree intentional homicide.  Rogler is accused of setting a house fire at 65 North Hickory Street and of firing 26 rounds off during a standoff including shooting at a police officer. No one was hurt during the fire and the standoff on December 9th.  Police recovered a large cache of weapons in his apartment. He’s being held in the County Jail on an $850,000 cash bond.
