FDL Chiropractors Team Up For Childrens Shoe Effort

Proper fitting shoes are essentials every parent hopes to provide for their children. A 2014 survey of  Fond du lac parents eligible for the Back to School program discovered the need for help supplying  1000 children with shoes. The Salvation Army worked, doing what it could with the resources it could gather. Parents received one $5 Payless gift card for each eligible child.

This year, five Fond du Lac chiropractors are banding together to help The Salvation Army do more, by challenging patients and community to donate monetary gifts and Payless gift cards.  1000 Payless gift cards is the minimum target for the First Annual “Save A Sole Chiropractic Challenge.”

Wink Chiropractic, 924 Forest Ave., spearheads the effort.  Dr. Craig Wink, Dr. Scott Suprenand, and staff helped create the friendly competition between chiropractors.

“It feels good to bring chiropractors together as a group, out front in the community, working to accomplish something of tremendous value,” Dr. Wink shared.

Bauer Chiropractic (355 N. Peters Ave #3), Corbett Chiropractic Care (520 S. Main St.), Moxon  Chiropractic (N6463 S. Pioneer Rd.), and Dynamic Chiropractic (952 S. Park Ave.) will each create incentives. Support your favorite office now through July 31.  Help them win the “Save A Sole Challenge.”   The winning office gets lunch, a trophy, and bragging rights.

“Having the Save A Sole Challenge support The Salvation Army’s role in Back to School FdL is tremendous –  though the competition between the offices is very real, their friendly approach speaks to their good hearts,”  Ron Jacobson, Salvation Army Social Services Director shared.  The Salvation Army, 237 N. Macy St., will collect Save A Save a Sole donations.
