FDL City Council And School Board Candidates

Five candidates have filed nomination papers for the four seats available on the Fond du Lac City Council this April. Incumbents Karyn Merkel, Kay Miller and Derek TerBeest will face challengers Ben Giles and Donna Richards. Giles is the son of Councilman Greg Giles and Donna Richards is a former North Fond du Lac Village official. Councilwoman Lee Ann Lorrigan has run into a term limit and can not run for office for at least a year.

In the Fond du Lac School Board race incumbents Linda Uselmann and Susan Jones are running unopposed. Jones is seeking her eighth term and Uselmann her second. The deadline to file nomination papers is 5 p.m. today.
