FDL City Office Closings For Thanksgiving

City offices in the Fond du Lac City-County Government Center will be closed next Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving. The Municipal Service Center will be closed on next Thursday and Friday for nearly all services, including refuse and recycling collection. Refuse and recycling normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Wednesday, along with the normal Wednesday collection. Refuse and recycling normally collected on Friday will be collected on Monday, November 27th, along with the regular Monday collection. Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours. However, the bulky waste drop off site, while being closed on Thanksgiving Day, will be open on Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th. The Senior Center will also be closed next Thursday and Friday and City Transit Buses will not operate those days. The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open on Friday, November 24th.
