FDL County Accidents
On Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:25pm the Fond du Lac Communications Center received a call of a motorcycle crash with injuries on Cth B and Pine Road in the Town of Eden. Sheriff’s Deputies along with Campbellsport Ambulance and Eden Fire Department and First Responders responded to the scene. Investigation showed that a motorcycle driven by 24year old Tyler Martin from Town of Empire was traveling westbound on Cth B, failed to negotiate a curve and entered the ditch striking a pole. Martin was found approximately 40minutes after the accident. Martin was transported by Campbellsport Ambulance to St Agnes Hospital and later by Fond du Lac City Paramedics to Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries. Martin was wearing a helmet and alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
On Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:55pm the Fond du Lac Communication Center received a report of two vehicle accident with injuries on Hwy 45 and Lake Road in the Town of Auburn. Sheriff’s Deputies along with Campbellsport Ambulance and Fire Department, Kewaskum Ambulance, and Fond du Lac City Paramedics responded to the scene. Preliminary investigation how that 16 year old Bryan Hewitt of Campbellsport was traveling southbound on Hwy 45 when he crossed the centerline striking a northbound vehicle head-on. The northbound vehicle was driven by 41 year old Scott Gurrath of Campbellsport. Scott Gurrath and his passenger 17 year old Devin Gurrath were transported to St. Agnes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Hewitt was transported to St. Joes Hospital and later to Children’s Hospital with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
