FDL County Fairest Of The Fair Crowned
The Northwinds Supper Club in Eden hosted the Fond du Lac County Fairest of Fair crowning this weekend. Emily Ries was named the Fairest of the Fair. Prior to the announcement Fair Manager Matt Immel announced there will be changes at the Fair this year. Ries says County Fairs always need improvements. She says one of the changes will be a birthing barn. She says it will be a chance for people attending the Fair to see live chicks and ducks being hatched, and cows being born something not a lot of people get to witness. 1st Runner-up for Fairest was Mandi Pesch and the 2nd Runner-up was Karmen Ruplinger. This year’s Fond du Lac County Fair is Wednesday through Sunday, July 17th through the 21st.
