FDL County Unemployment Rate Among Lowest In The State
Unemployment rates for the City and County of Fond du Lac were among the lowest in the state last month. The City’s jobless rate of 2.6 percent was the 5th lowest of the state’s 72 counties and the County’s rate of 2.4 percent was the 3rd lowest. Both rates were also lower than the 3 percent unemployment rate they were at in March. In April of 2016 the City’s jobless rate was 3.8 percent and the County’s was at 3.5 percent. The state’s unemployment rate for last month was 3.2 percent. The unemployment rates are based on federal labor statistics.
