FDL HS Competes At National Catholic Forensics League

On Sunday, March 15, the Fond du Lac High School (FHS) Forensics team attended the National Catholic Forensics League (NCFL) qualifying tournament.  Competitors that participate in the Diocese of Green Bay vie for five spots per category against surrounding area schools.  Gwen Salm, junior, will be advancing to the NCFL Grand Tournament over Memorial Day weekend for her oral interpretation compilation of various literature and poetry under the theme of “a crisis of faith.”  Dominic Rosado, junior, was named first alternate for his oratory on perfectionism, and Bailey Darling, junior, was also named first alternate for her oral interpretation compilation of “body positive” literature.

The Fond du Lac High School Forensics team has had a very successful 2014-15 season.  Additionally, there were many successes for individual competitors.

The FHS Forensics team’s next event will be the Wisconsin Forensic Coaches’ Association State tournament at Ripon College.  Coaches Khristy Knudtson and Adele Adams are looking forward to the future success and growth of their team.

Donations to the Forensics team for travel and tournament funding can be sent to FHS Forensics C/O  Fond du Lac High School, 801 Campus Drive, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
