FDL Man Ordered To Pay More Than $30,000 In Restitution For House Fire
The 33-year-old Fond du Lac man who set fire to his mother’s home on 3rd Street last August was ordered to pay $33,000 in restitution during a hearing in Fond du Lac County Court Friday. Timothy Schneider was sentenced in January to 7 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision. Friday a restitution hearing was held. He was able to make good on all but about $3,200 of restitution and court costs. According to the criminal complaint Schneider used gasoline to set fire to his mother’s home at 352 3rd Street after she had kicked him out.
