FDL Man Pleads To Vehicular Homicide Charge In Death Of Campbellsport Teen

A 20-year-old Fond du Lac man who was high when he drove off the road near the South Hills Country Club and hit a tree killing one teenage friend and injuring another has pled to several charges stemming from the incident. Gilberto Castaneda-Bobadilla was in Fond du Lac County Court Tuesday. He pled “no contest” to vehicular homicide and injury charges. A drug paraphernalia possession charge was read into the record and dismissed. The accident occurred on November 16th of 2012.  Giovanni Clouse of Campbellsport was killed and Alex Schultz of Dotyville was injured. The three were returning from a concert in Madison early that morning. A state crime lab test found the presence of marijuana in Castenda-Bobadilla’s blood. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.
