FDL Man Sentenced In Drug Overdose Death

The 22-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected of supplying heroin to another Fond du Lac man that led to that man’s overdose death is going to prison. Fond du Lac County Judge Gary Sharpe this week sentenced Jeffery Hiley to 7 years in prison and 8 years of extended supervision. According to the criminal complaint Hiley went to Corey Lawson’s work place on May 24th of 2014 and sold him heroin. Lawson was found dead at his residence the next day. An autopsy determined he died of heroin toxicity.
