FDL Man Sentenced In Shooting Incident

The 23-year-old Fond du Lac man who shot a 19-year-old Chicago, Illinois man in the leg has been sentenced to 11 years in prison and six years of extended supervision. Fond du Lac County Judge Peter Grimm sentenced James Tucker, Jr.  Tuesday afternoon. In January Tucker pled no contest to a 1st degree reckless injury charge. Charges of attempted homicide and aggravated battery were read into the record and dismissed. The incident happened at the Hometown Harbor Apartment complex last September 28th. The victim was taken to St. Agnes Hospital where he was treated and released.
