FDL Police Announce Two Promotions, Appointment of Three New Officers

29-Nov-2019

The Fond du Lac Police Department is announcing the promotion of two staff members and the appointment of three new Police Officers.

The department announced this week that Police Officer Michael Noble has been promoted to Lieutenant and School Resource Officer Kristina Meilahn has been promoted to Detective. In addition, Officers Ryan Biffert, Dustin Hodgson and Brooke Mathes have successfully completed the Department’s Field Training Program.

Lieutenant Noble is a seven-year veteran of the Police Department, having served as a Patrol Officer since his hiring in 2012. Detective Meilhan is an 11-year veteran of the Police Department. She was hired as a Police Officer in January of 2009 and in 2014 was selected for assignment as a School Resource Officer at Fond du Lac High School.

Officers Biffert and Mathes began working with the department in 2016 as a Community Service Officer, while Officer Hodgson was first hired as a CSO in 2018. All three were hired as Police Officers by the city earlier this year and have completed the 17-week Field Training program.

The Police Department will hold a Pinning Ceremony for the two new promotions and three new hires on Tuesday, December 3rd at 1 pm at the Fond du Lac Police Department. The public is welcome to attend.
