FDL Police Arrest Two in Connection to April Shots Fired Incidents

Two men have been arrested in connection to a pair of shots fired incidents last month in the City of Fond du Lac. Fond du Lac Police announced today (Thursday) that a 29-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, both from Fond du Lac, that are responsible for the shooting incidents in late April were taken into custody Wednesday evening.

 

Police were called to the 100 block of east Second Street just after 10:30 pm the night of April 25th for a report of possible gunshots heard in the area. Officers at the time did not find any damage, but after recanvassing the area the next morning discovered damage to a vehicle in front of a home on Second Street and recovered a shell casing. Around 2 AM the morning of April 26th, police were called to the area of Morris Street and Military Road for a report of shots fired into a home. The home was occupied at the time, but no one was injured.

 

The 29-year-old man was arrested for Endangering Safety by Reckless Use of a Weapon and Criminal Damage to Property. The 18-year-old man was arrested for being party to the crime of Endangering Safety by Reckless Use of a Weapon and being party to the crime of Criminal Damage to Property. Both are being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail awaiting formal charges.
