FDL Police Investigating Possible Drive-By Shooting

Fond du Lac Police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting that happened early Saturday morning.


A news release says officers were called to the 100 block of Harrison Place just after 4 am for a report of a man inside a vehicle who had a gun, who was arguing with another man. A witness told police the man inside the vehicle fired two shots toward a home on Harrison Place.


Officers checked the area and were unable to locate any victims or damage to nearby buildings. A man who was at the home where shots were directed towards was taken into custody on a probation hold.


The suspect’s vehicle was described as a newer model Dodge that was charcoal grey colored. The suspect is described as a man wearing a puffy, silver-colored jacket. He was sitting in the passenger seat of the suspect vehicle.
