FDL Police Looking for Suspect in Shooting Incident

Fond du Lac Police are asking for the public’s help in
locating a suspect in a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon in the city.
Police are looking for Mohamed G. Elmhdati in connection to the shooting that
happened in the area of Division Street and Lincoln Avenue. A temporary arrest
warrant has been issued for Elmhdati for Attempted 1^st Degree
Intentional Homicide and Armed Robbery. He was last seen driving a newer-model grey
Ford Escape with a bug shield on the frond with two circular designs or “eyes”
on it. Police say Elmhdati should be considered armed and dangerous. A 25-year-old
Fond du Lac man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in the incident. He was taken
to St. Agnes Hospital for treatment. Anyone with information about where
