FDL Public Library Idea Studio Grand Opening Saturday

The Fond du Lac Public Library will hold the grand opening for its Idea Studio Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s located in the lower level of the downtown library where the Book Seller used to be. Community Information Coordinator Terri Fleming says the Idea Studio is a maker space where equipment allows you to make all kinds of things. She says they have a variety of equipment. She says if you not familiar with the equipment they will take you through badging classes first, which is similar to training. She says during the grand opening people will have the chance to win a 3-D portrait of themselves. Starting next Monday the Idea Studio will be open to the public.
