FDL Residents Voice Concerns About County Hwy V

A number of Fond du Lac residents living along County Highway V in the City showed up at the City Council meeting last week to voice their concerns about speed, noise and traffic generated on the roadway since the interchange was put in at Highway 151. Public Works Director Jordan Skiff says the County has jurisdiction over the County road. He says the speed limit, noise concerns or putting up a wall to reduce the noise is something that would have to be taken up with the County. City Manager Joe Moore says there is more traffic on County Highway V. He says part of the additional traffic is people coming up from Eden and Campbellsport since the interchange opened. Skiff says they did a speed and volume study for County Highway V before the interchange was put in and will do a follow up study this summer. He says police and sheriff’s deputies could do more enforcement for speed on the highway, but if the majority of people using it are more comfortable traveling at a higher rate of speed they may have to increase the speed limit above 35 miles an hour.

Put the on and off ramps back on from h151 to h45. I don't understand why they removed them in the first place.
