FDL Salvation Army Benefits From Giving Tuesday

The Fond du Lac Salvation Army was one of the many non-profit organizations and good causes that benefited from Giving Tuesday. Their Thrift Shop off Pioneer Road was a busy scene with sales, music, soup donated by Annie’s Fountain City Café and an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Thrivent Financial pledged up to $10,000 to match every dollar raised by the Salvation Army something Thrift Store Manager Brenda Bertram was grateful for. It’s a busy week for the Salvation Army with the bucket brigade Friday morning at the KFIZ and 107.1 The Bull parking lot on Winnebago Drive and simultaneously at the Cobblestone Plaza on South Main Street.
