FDL School Board Elects New Officers

The Fond du Lac School Board has a new president and vice president. Part of yesterday’s meeting was organizational with new officers elected. Julie Nett was elected president, Mark Jurgella vice president, Elizabeth Hayes secretary-clerk, and Susan Jones treasurer. The Board also decided to keep the compensation for board members the same with the president receiving $1,800 a year and other board members $1,600. District Superintendent Jim Sebert says board members are more about serving the community than the compensation they receive. The meeting began with Fond du Lac County Judge Peter Grimm swearing in new board member Linda Uselmann and returning board member Susan Jones.
