FDL School Board Keeps Same Officers And Salary

The Fond du Lac School Board did some organizing at the beginning of their meeting last night. Fond du Lac County Judge Peter Grimm swore in members Elizabeth Hayes (pictured) and Kathleen Nagle to new terms in office. The Judge swore in member Mark Jurgella last week; Jurgella was unable to attend last night’s meeting. The Board also elected officers and they will be the same for the second straight year. Hayes was elected president, Julie Nett vice president, Nagle treasurer and Eric Everson secretary and clerk. The board also voted to keep salaries the same with the board president receiving $1,800 a year and the rest of the members $1,600 a year. District Superintendent Jim Sebert says it takes commitment to be a school board member.
