FDL School District Adds Two More Class Days

The Fond du Lac School District has added two more make
up days to its school calendar after the nasty winter weather added two more
cancellation days over the past few weeks. The district will be adding full
days of school for all students on Friday, March 22^nd and Friday,
May 3^rd to account for school cancellation days on February 7^th
and February 12^th. The district previously added full days of school
on May 24^th and June 5^th and a half day on June 6^th.
Superintendent Jim Sebert said in an email the district has enough
instructional minutes scheduled to comply with state law, but the concern over
lost teaching and learning time and the possibility of more inclement weather led
to the decision to add days.
