FDL School District Health And Safety Coordinator Retiring

The Fond du Lac School Board Monday night approved the retirement of School District Health and Safety Coordinator Marian Sheridan. She will be retiring on December 31st. District Superintendent Jim Sebert says Sheridan played a big role in the district and the community. He says, “Most people that know Marian think of her, sure she works for the school district, but her impact on the larger community is really what sets her apart. She is a systems thinker and every thing she does has impact that reaches far beyond our students and staff within the Fond du Lac School District. It really benefits the Fond du Lac community.” Sebert knows she will be missed, but is entitled to retirement after 18 years with the district. He says, “She certainly is going to be missed, very much and has been just a wonderful person to work with. She is an exceptional leader, she’s a very dynamic woman and we will certainly miss her, but with that being said you got to be excited for her. She’s got the opportunity to move on to the next phase in her life. I’m sure she will still impact the Fond du Lac community in many, many ways.”
