FDL Schools Participate In Mercury Marine Recycling Challenge

Schools in the Fond du Lac School District are participating in Mercury Marine’s Recycling Challenge by using their creativity to decorate some of the 55-gallon containers that will be placed throughout Lakeside Park to collect recyclables over the course of the Walleye Weekend event. 

 These Rosenow artists (L-R) Emma Bahr, Emma Lohry, Jonathan Uselmann, Sydney Scola, Abby Friesmuth, Davianna Daniels, and Abigail Kattre painted the barrel that will be entered in the decorating contest. These “works of art” will be judged by Mercury Marine representatives on May 28. The school with the winning container will receive $500 in support of their environmental club.
