FDL Shooting Suspect Makes Initial Court Appearance

Bond has been set at half a million dollars cash for the 22-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected of shooting a 19-year-old Chicago, Illinois man in the leg during an incident in Fond du Lac last month. James Tucker made his initial appearance in Fond du Lac County Court this morning on attempted 1st degree intentional homicide, 1st degree reckless injury, and aggravated battery by use of a dangerous weapon charges. The incident happened at the Hometown Harbor Apartment complex on September 28th. The victim was taken to St. Agnes Hospital where he was treated and released. A preliminary hearing for Tucker is scheduled for Thursday, November 6th. Three other Fond du Lac residents are facing possible obstruction charges for impeding the police investigation into the shooting.
