FDL Teen Arrested For Stabbing

A 38-year-old Fond du Lac man was treated for non-life threatening stab wounds at St. Agnes Hospital Thursday. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says they got a call just before 1:30 that afternoon about a a girl with a knife chasing the man in the area of Sophia and Division Streets. An officer responding to the report saw the man approaching the police department. The man had a stab wound in the left shoulder/neck area and a wound to a hand. According to the preliminary investigation the victim was stabbed by a 13-year-old girl while trying to break up a fight between the girl and another sibling. The girl was located later and is being held in juvenile detention on a preliminary charge of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety.
