FDL Woman Pleads To Child Abuse Charges

The 47-year-old Fond du Lac woman who abused two boys pled no contest Monday in Fond du Lac County Court to two child abuse charges. Eight other charges Jeana Riehl was facing were read into the record and dismissed or dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion. She will be sentenced on March 12th. According to the criminal complaint her abuse of the 11 and 12-year-old boys happened over a six year span. The complaint alleges she used a rolling pin, cutting board, horse whip, plastic and wooden spoons, and a hunting arrow. One of the boys was also allegedly locked in a bathroom for several weeks only being allowed out for a meal. Her husband Troy Riehl is charged with being party to the neglect and abuse because he knew about it, but did nothing to prevent it. He has a plea hearing next Tuesday and if he maintains his innocence a jury trial is scheduled in May.
