Federal Aid Coming to WI to help with Road & Bridge Repair from Summer Flooding

The Federal Highway Administration is giving Wisconsin
more than $23 million dollars to help with road and bridge repairs. The funding
is part of an overall $705.7 million funding package under the Emergency Relief
program to help 34 states, as well as American Samoa, Puerto Rico and the U.S.
Virgin Islands to make infrastructure repairs after storms, floods and other
unexpected events. Over 17-million dollars of the money is for repairs caused
by severe flooding in June and August of last year.
