Feyen Enthusiastic About Foxconn Deal

Although the Foxconn facility is expected to be in the Kenosha or Racine area, its impact is expected to affect the whole state. For that reason State Senator Dan Feyen is enthusiastic about getting the deal done to get the LCD television maker to Wisconsin. The supply chain for the facility will result in other jobs for companies in the state and will also impact jobs for restaurants and stores. There are a few steps to get the incentive bill passed including its time in the Senate and Feyen says it will probably be mid-September before everything that needs to be done is completed. But he’d vote on it today if he could. Foxconn could invest $10 billion in the Wisconsin facility and create up to 13,000 jobs.
