Fire at a FDL Home Sunday

No one was injured in a
house fire Sunday evening in the City of Fond
du Lac. Fire crews were called to a home at 227 4^th street
just after 8pm for a report of a house on fire. The fire was contained to the
front porch and was quickly put out. The home sustained minimal damage and the
fire consumed some cardboard and paper that was being stored on the porch. There
was no structural damage to the home. Fond
du Lac Police officers who arrived on scene before
fire crews arrived were able to alert first floor residents of the fire, and
all occupants were able to get out safely. The cause of the fire is under
