Fire At Interior Systems In FDL

Fond du Lac Firefighters were called to Interior Systems at 525 West Rolling Meadows Drive Wednesday morning for a fire in a dust collection system. Division Chief Troy Haase says the fire was contained to a pipe in the exhaust system. He says there was a hot spot on a table they were working on and it got sucked up into the system. He says there was some mild smoke in the building. Haase says the building was evacuated and there were no injuries. The company works with a lot of wood and Haase says it’s fortunate the fire wasn’t more serious. Interior Systems specializes in interior design and building solutions for restaurant, retail, and education markets. The time of the fire call was 8:05 a.m. Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue photo.
