Fire in Test Lab at Mercury Marine
were called to Mercury Marine Plant 12 for a fire in a test lab Tuesday night.
According to Division Chief Troy Haase, crews encountered heavy smoke in the
lab upon arrival. The fire suppression system in the room had activated which
helped to isolate the fire. The fire was contained to an oven and put out.
Crews were on scene for around 90 minutes. There were no reported injuries and
all employees evacuated safely. The time of the call was 8:15 pm.
