First Snow of the Season Brings 3 Inches to FDL Area

The first snowfall of the season brought anywhere from 2 to
3 inches of wet snow to the area last night. Reports to the National Weather
Service from the City of Fond du Lac totaled around three inches – while totals
from Taycheedah, St. Peter and the Eden area came in around three-and-a-half
inches. Three-and-a-half inches was also reported near Lomira, with close to two
inches reported near Kewaskum. Lighter amounts were found near Milwaukee.
Neenah reported the highest snow total – with an unofficial amount of 4.4
inches reported there.


Forecasters say more snow is expected Wednesday night into
the day on Thursday – with anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of accumulation
possible. The weather service says those amounts could still change, so people
are encouraged to pay attention to the latest forecasts
