Fitzgerald Pleased With Investment In Public Education

State Senate Minority Leader Scott Fitzgerald attended the Governor’s budget signing ceremony in Neenah this week. Appropriately it was at a school. The Governor promoted the fact that the budget included the most funding ever in state history for public school funding. Fitzgerald says schools will get about $200 more per student during each year of the two-year budget. He points out that is more that a $600 million increase going into K-12 schools. He says altogether that is biggest ever in K-12 schools in the state’s history.
