Fitzgerald Talks About Decision Not To Run For US Senate

State Senator Scott Fitzgerald considered running against Tammy Baldwin for a Wisconsin U.S. Senate seat. The State Senate Majority Leader even went so far as discussing it with his family. He had conversations after Congressman Duffy decided not to challenge Baldwin. Fitzgerald says he was a little concerned there wouldn’t be a true conservative candidate in the race until he talked with Senator Leah Vukmir. After conversations with him she decided to take the leap and Fitzgerald made his own decision to support her run for the office. Fitzgerald says he enjoys being Senate Majority Leader and will concentrate on running for another term representing the 13th State Senate District.
